Happy indeed is the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked; nor lingers in the way of sinners nor sits in the company of scorners, but whose delight is the law of the Lord and who ponders his law day and night.
He is like a tree that is planted beside the flowing waters, that yields its fruit in due season and whose leaves shall never fade; and all that he does shall prosper. Not so are the wicked, not so!
For they like winnowed chaff shall be driven away by the wind. When the wicked are judged they shall not stand, nor find room among those who are just; for the Lord guards the way of the just but the way of the wicked leads to doom.
WHat bible version is that. Morning kjv or niv. Been trying to get this exact translation
shoot i don’t know. i took this from the Scriptures established for each day in Mass, which I guess means it must come from — wait scratch that! i just googled it. Catholics read the Scripture based on the translations in the Vulgate (Latin) Bible – but in the US it’s pretty common for us to resort to the new american version. but Mass is def based on the vulgate translations – thanks for your question! i learned something!
sorry it took so long to respond. ive been a slacker neglecting my blog. i’ll get notified of a comment sometimes but if wordpress decides to prompt me for my password i don’t bother because i can never remember my password. i’m always in a hurry and i think i’ll get to it later but later sometimes ends up being months!
